Interest expense for the first quarter of fiscal 2022 was $39.2 million, compared with $39.5 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2021, due to decreased borrowings.
Net cash provided by operating activities increased $464.1 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2022 compared with the first quarter of fiscal 2021 largely as a result of increased equipment rental activity and receiving $159 million of federal income tax refund claims.
