The Company posted a fourth quarter fiscal year 2010 net loss of $1.6 million, or $(0.10) per diluted share on revenue of $5.5 million compared with a fourth quarter fiscal year 2009 net income of $2.6 million, or $0.15 per diluted share on revenue of $10.4 million.
Astrotechs net income for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010 was $0.3 million, or $0.01 per diluted share on revenue of $28.0 million compared to net income of $4.7 million, or $0.28 per diluted share on revenue of $32.0 million for the prior fiscal year.
The Companys 18-month rolling backlog, which includes contractual backlog and scheduled but uncommitted missions, was $24.9 million at June 30, 2010. The majority of the backlog is for ASO pre-launch satellite processing services, which include hardware launch preparation; advanced planning; use of unique satellite preparation facilities; and spacecraft checkout, encapsulation, fueling, transport, and command and control through launch.
